Australia’s Miracle Man, Dr John Hinwood has thanked the people of Parkes and Forbes for their support for his new book, You Can Expect A Miracle due to released nationally in August.
Dr Hinwood recently launched a national campaign of 60-second Miracle Messages to be aired on regional radio stations throughout Australia over the next six months to support the book launch. Radio 2PK in Parkes was the first Australian radio station to air Miracle Messages.
One of the book’s contributors is Berni Ireland, daughter of Forbes resident, Mary Aitken who grew up in Parkes and attended Red Bend Catholic College in Forbes for years 10, 11 and 12. Berni now lives on the Gold Coast and is a sought after speaker around Australia. Berni’s cousin, Bob Aitken was editor of the Parkes Champion-Post for many years.
For the past 21 years Dr Hinwood has been handing out a small white card to almost everyone he has met. The card has just three words written on it: “Expect a Miracle”.
John is a crusader for a better life for people. He believes that most people are not aware of the opportunities in their lives. His book, You Can Expect A Miracle chronicles extraordinary, believe-it-or-not miracles that those who have received his cards have experienced and will be available in book stores nationally from August.
John and wife, Judy received the International Humanitarian Award from the prestigious Parker Seminars of Dallas, Texas USA in 2008. He is a great example of the power of miracles. Suffering from dyslexia as a child he was told that the best he should aspire to was a job as a postal clerk. He overcame his learning difficulties, won a scholarship, completed a Doctor of Chiropractic and went on to establish one of Australia’s most successful chiropractic practices.
The 62-year-old’s crusade to change people’s lives comes from his many observations through his practice and coaching business that people go through life expecting the worst, create what they believe and miss out on opportunities.
