Back in early 2009 I met Dr. John Hinwood a family friend of my fathers. Over dinner he explained to me the significance of a lone card which he kept in his wallet. It was an Expect A Miracle card.

He explained that expect a miracle was a project he had been working on for years which spread hope and good fortune.

I had discussed with him how I didn’t have any direction in my life and things seemed to be at a standstill. He handed me an ‘Expect a Miracle’ card and from that day on there was momentum in my life. By the end of the year I had been appointed Sports Captain in my House at school and lead my house to their first ever second place against 12 other Houses in 25 years of it’s history.

In the proceeding year I was appointed Gymnastics Captain and against all odds placed 2nd in Australia placing me on the Australian Gymnastics Team and then later winning the Greater Public Schools gymnastics tournament making it our first ever hatrick in our 100 year history.

And all it took was for me to look and focus on that one card before every major event in my life. To this day that card remains in my wallet and continues to bless me in life.

I’m thankful that Dr. John Hinwood is taking the extra effort just to make peoples lives more enjoyable and glad to know that regardless of who you are there is someone out there that cares about you enough to change your life like he did mine.

Thank you Dr. Hinwood for your help so far and I can’t wait to get stuck into my studies to one day become the best chiropractor on the Gold Coast.

Thankyou Dr Josh Saunders for sharing your story – this week the public voted for this miracle!

My father was a long term diabetic, very corporate and did not have much time for his health.

He did not go to a Chiropractor, before I became one. I introduced him to the benefits of long term care plan for his nervous system, get things flowing through his body properly. Sorted out his lifestyle what he ate, what he thought, what his fitness levels were like.

After 3 years on this plan, he no longer had to take his diabetic medication, because his blood sugar levels had stablised, after losing the weight, changing his lifestyle, not going on a crash diet to live better, whilst still fully maintaining and improving his nervous system.

That was 5 years ago, to this day he is still doing well, not on diabetic medication and all because of basically the main factors of health. One being making sure you have nerve flow to all your vital organs so that your body can accept things that you need to do like eat right, get the proper amount of exercise and have good thoughts.

Mr L came into my practice in London, England and gradually his family started coming in as well.

His wife was unsure. She didn’t think she could be helped or required chiropractic care.

After a few years of care Mr L came into the clinic expressing his upset and concern over having difficulties conceiving with his wife. We discussed again how helpful it would be for Mrs L to come in and get adjusted.

After trying all mainstream options she decided to come in to see me.

As an NET (Neuro Emotional Technique – a branch of Chiropractic) and Applied Kinesiology Practitioner, I worked with her. After 6 months she fell pregnant with twins.

She came in for regular care throughout the pregnancy.

At 24 weeks pregnant she was showing signs of preclampsia. I advised her to see her obstetrician immediately. She was rushed to hospital for an emergency caesarian.

Mr L thought and was told, he would lose both his wife and children. I visited them all in hospital regularly, adjusting a little girl who fitted into the palm of my hand. The fact that that beautiful loving family is today thriving and doing so well is a miracle! I feel privileged to know them and to have been part of their life.
