Here is the latest, most voted Miracle of the Week

My miracle story started when I was about 10 years old.

I grew up in Germany in a little town, in a suburban house, and I had a love of space. My dream started that I imagined a house where I could walk around the whole place and not see another house. Now to get something like this in Germany is not very likely.

Also part of my dream was to own an Equestrian Centre. My dream was very vivid and including a family and husband who was a professional rider, but not only a rider, but he also had another profession.

My imagination of my children was 2 girls, of which one of them was adopted. The dream started when I was 10 years old and continually played in my mind. Recently one day, not that long ago, I woke up and I realised that everything I dreamed back then was now reality.

I moved to Australia, we lived on 100 acre farm and I could walk around the house and not see another house anywhere. We have an Equestrian Centre and my husband was a full time professional rider and also is a chiropractor. We have two girls, one is adopted from China.

Looking back at it now, I realise it was a miracle, the attraction that comes from dreaming, believing and not giving up.

Last October I entered my local Country Club Ladies Club Championship, which is a 2 day event.

After the first day of heavy rain and wind, I found myself down by 9 strokes, which had nothing to do with climate, but everything to do with how I was playing.

So on day two, I am in my closet, doing my positive self talk, stating my Parker Principles, and on the shelf I see an Expect A Miracle card that John Hinwood had given my son in the elevator in Dallas a few months prior, after I had finished speaking at the Parker seminar.

I said I am going to take this card, I am right handed, so I put it in my right pocket, where I keep my tees and my ball marker. All day long I am going to touch this card. On hole 2, I was down 11 strokes. So I thought OK you are going to have to turn this around and I said ‘Expect A Miracle one stroke at a time, Expect A Miracle one stroke at a time’.

So as the day progressed, I slowly gained and at the end of the day I won by 5 strokes. So I go into the Clubhouse and my Club Pro was there and he said, “you have to tell me your secret”. I pulled out the Expect A Miracle card and I handed it to him. He looked at it and said, “now I understand”.

Most golfers probably display their trophies when they win a championship. I display my Expect A Miracle card.

I met John for the first time in Santa Fe, New Mexico at a Reconnection Master Conference in September 2006.

He talked about the Expect A Miracle card and I had them printed up, with the Universe behind the miracle. I use it in my Reconnective Healing Practice to communicate to people that they can expect a miracle, but they should be open to all the possibilities of how they can come through, because the Universe is abundant with miracles.

As well as giving them out to people who come into my practice, I also leave them mysteriously everywhere I go; at the post office, park etc and know that someone will pick the card up and just feel so blessed in some way that they will go ‘Oh my God, I am going to have a miracle’.

People have come back and told me about their miracle stories. Actually I have had people tell me that they have stepped out of their cars and picked up an Expect A Miracle card.
